Online Tour: The Jean Walsh Room

This room, on the second level of the Townsend House, was recently dedicated by the Historical Society, as the Jean Walsh Room after the donation of this amazing Homewood Replica Model Dollhouse, by Jean Spittel-Walsh. The house depicts Homewood as it would have appeared in 1900 and was completely constructed and furnished by Jean Walsh between 1977-1980. The model was presented to the Catonsville Historical Society, for display in the Townsend House in 1999.

The Homewood replica will grab the attention of adult and youth visitors alike, and is just one more reason you should contact us to schedule a tour of the Townsend House today!

[Homewood Model]

A collage of pictures and information on the Spittel and Walsh families and their connection to Homewood, is also on display in this room.
